The man behind the former Bistro 115 and the current Prime 115 in Downtown Waxahachie has announced a new venture coming to the courthouse square.

In a social media post on May 17, 2023, Mo Hadzovic announced the start of Rialto, a fine Italian dining restaurant and entertainment center.

“Hello Waxahachie. I want to let everyone know that I have sold Prime 115 and am no longer part of this restaurant. The new owners and some of the same team are glad to continue serving you there. On to new endeavors. My new team and I are excited to announce that we are in the process of creating a new restaurant and entertainment facility just for you. We are setting up shop in the old police station in historic downtown. Rialto – fine Italian dining, featuring fresh authentic Italian cuisine as well as open market with fine meats and cheese. Breakfast , lunch and dinner,” Mo announced.

The announcement also reveals a new speakeasy style whiskey bar and cigar lounge called Remington’s as part of the new venture, offering an evening spot to enjoy cigars and cocktails in Waxahachie’s historic town square. Additionally, the Holding Cell, a play on words regarding the site’s former use as a police station for more than two decades, will offer live music and comedy nights in a sports bar atmosphere.

“All this coming soon,” Mo concludes. “We will keep you updated on progress and an opening date.”
