Ennis Freedom Fest

Now in its 12th year, the Ennis Freedom Fest has a reputation for being the most extensive fireworks display in the area. The evening’s offerings include a live music performance by Country band Hazard County, rock climbing, paddle boats, food and more.
Shuttle service is available for free from Lions Memorial Stadium at 1405 W Lake Bardwell Dr, Ennis, TX 75119 beginning at 5:45 p.m. until the end of the event.
Note: No tents, canopies, outside alcohol or pets are allowed. Coolers will be subject to search.
Red Oak White and Blue

Concert and Fireworks
July 3, 2025
Starts at 6:00 p.m.
Waxahachie Sports Complex
151 Broadhead Rd, Waxahachie, TX 75165
The Crepe Myrtle Festival begins at the Waxahachie Sports Complex on July 3 with a concert performance by Country-Rock band, Big City Outlaws. Children can have fun in a special kids zone of activities, and food trucks will fight famine throughout the night.
Bring a lawn chair, blanket, food, coolers and whatever else accommodates your taste.
The fireworks display begins around 9:15 p.m.
Tips from the City:
Arrive early: Gates open at 5:00 p.m. The party starts at 6:00 p.m., and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m. Spectators can tune their radio to KBEC 1390AM/99.1 FM during the fireworks show for a special simulcast of patriotic music choreographed to the fireworks.
Parking will be available at the lot near the football, track, and volleyball fields, as noted on the map. There will be no parking near the soccer fields.

Entry and exit points are clearly marked on the map at Park Place Blvd. and Broadhead Road. Please drive carefully and watch for pedestrians.
Note: you may not bring your own fireworks, of any kind, to this event.
Dan McClinton Veterans’ Memorial Breakfast

All veterans and active personnel are welcome to a veteran’s breakfast before the July 4th parade. After the breakfast, veterans may participate as guests of honor in the Fourth of July parade downtown afterward. To register a veteran for the parade, visit the Waxahachie Conventions and Visitors Bureau sign up page.

Fair Park Fourth

Fair Park Fourth is free and open to the public, featuring hands-on activities for kids, local market vendors, live music, entertainment, food trucks, and other concession offerings. In addition to the fun-filled activations for all, Fair Park Fourth will light the sky with a spectacular firework show. Guests can experience the event from across Fair Park, and indoor cooling areas will be available.

The cities of DeSoto and Lancaster are joining together to celebrate the 4th of July with live music, children’s activities, games for all ages, food from a variety of vendors that will be sure to satisfy any taste buds, and of course, fireworks.
Maypearl 5th of July Celebration

After all the other 4th of July celebrations have passed, the City of Maypearl offers a post-Independence Day celebration for everyone who just doesn’t want to see the summer of 2025 start its denouement (and it’s hard for small towns to book a professional fireworks display on the 4th because the bigger cities get in first).
