Parents and children are invited to watch a not-so-scary movie and make a not-so-spooky craft during Sims Library’s family flix night. Snacks will be provided, or feel free to take your own. Take your own blanket or other cozy items as well. The featured movie will be Hotel Transylvania.

Wildflower Walk

Mockingbird Nature Trail

A half-mile walk to learn about wildflowers, native plants, and animal life, guided by members of Texas Master Naturalists Indian Trail Chapter of Navarro and Ellis Counties. Closed-toe shoes, comfortable outdoor clothing, and insect repellent are recommended. The event is free and open to children and adults of all ages, but be aware that most trails are natural surface.
Trick-Or-Treat at the Market

Children will have a chance to dress up in their favorite costume and shake down the merchants at the Downtown Waxahachie Farmers Market for candy and treats.
Oktoberfest

Trunk-O-Palooza

Ghost Hunt Fundraiser

Become a Ghost Hunter on a paranormal investigation tour of the historic 1891 Lodge in Downtown Waxahachie using “professional” paranormal equipment.
