Festival of Trees

Decorated trees, wreaths, and a wide variety of holiday season decor and Christmas trimmings, including wreaths, decorations, gift baskets, and weekend getaways, will be presented and available through a silent auction that starts the season of holidays.
Waxahachie Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting

The parade begins at Getzendaner Park, 400 S Grand Ave, Waxahachie, TX 75165 and works its way along Main Street to Railyard Park, 455 S College St, Waxahachie, TX 75165.
Join the City of Waxahachie as the community begins the holiday season with an annual lighted Christmas parade and tree lighting ceremony.
- Activities start at 6:00 p.m. at Railyard Park
- Photos with Santa ($5.00 each)
- Parade starts at 6:30 p.m. at Getzendaner Park
- Santa will light the tree at Railyard Park after the parade ends.
Lights of Ennis Christmas Parade, Block Party and Market

Waxahachie Y.M.C.A. 5K Santa Run

Join in on the absurd fun of the 11th annual Waxahachie Family YMCA Santa Run during which all participants will be suited in a 5-piece Santa suit and then be let loose for a 5K run with milk and cookies waiting for them at the finish line. Some runners will run as the Grinch who stole Christmas.
