The Waxahachie Christmas parade and community tree lighting ceremony is set for 2021.
Starting at 6:00 p.m. on November 30, 2021 at the Ellis County courthouse in Downtown Waxahachie, the night of family-oriented events includes the arrival of Santa Claus by fire engine who will flip the switch to turn on the lights for the community Christmas tree.
The parade begins at 6:30 pm, and the route will proceed from Getzendaner Park, head east on Main Street and then turn south on Rogers Street, finally concluding at the Ellis County Courthouse.
The tree Lighting will take place at the end of the parade, and photos with Santa starts after the tree lighting.
Additional activities at Railyard Park will take place throughout the evening.
