Waxahachie I.S.D. community education offerings will bring new skills into your life.

If you’ve ever wanted to take up an artistic skill, learn to shoot better photos, plant bluebonnets near your home or get C.P.R. certification, the Waxahachie I.S.D. Lighthouse for Learning has the class for you.

Offered throughout the school year and starting in the fall, Lighthouse for Learning classes offer short, one-day lessons that will acquaint you with the very basics on a topic to start you off on a new venture. A few of the classes meet weekly for a couple of months. The cost for the classes ranges from $15 – $78. Some sessions, such as self-defense training, are free.
