Owners of The Emory Bar and Kitchen in Downtown Waxahachie have announced the closing of the restaurant.

“Dearest Emory Customers,

“After much thought, we have decided to close the restaurant.

“Our last two nights for dinner service will be this Friday 12/26 and Saturday 12/27, so make sure you stop by one last time to enjoy your favorite entree and see your favorite servers.

“It’s been a joy and pleasure to be a part of the community for the last few years… we’ve had the most amazing customers come through the doors.

“Hats off to ALL of our TEAM that always goes above and beyond to make everyone’s experience exceptional!

“For reservations on either of these days, please call (469) 383-1733

“For outstanding gift card balance redemption, please email theemoryco@gmail.com”

The restaurant also featured live music from local performers on the weekends, therefore its closing marks the end of yet another music venue in Waxahachie.

No reason for the closing was given in the social media post. The restaurant held a 4.4 out of 5 stars Google review.
