Waxahachie I.S.D. community education offerings will bring new skills into your life.

If you’d like to pick up new skills in woodworking, cooking with an Instant Pot, saving lives or just doing your own taxes, the Waxahachie I.S.D. Lighthouse for Learning has the class for you.

Offered throughout the school year, Lighthouse for Learning classes offer short lessons that will acquaint you with the very basics on a topic to start you off on a new venture. Some classes can be completed in one day, and a few of the classes meet weekly for a couple of months. The cost for the classes ranges from $18.00 – $150.00. Some sessions, such as art, are free.
